I heard about vajazzling a long time ago, but I’ve always had reservations about it because I never quite grasped the purpose.
*Random person yells* Naj what the hell is a vajazzle?
Oh I should explain what it is before I go on about it right? LOL
Vajazzling: The act of applying glitter and jewels to a woman’s nether regions for aesthetic purposes.
Basically, a woman…or in some cases, a man… would get a brazilian bikini wax or a wax that just leaves a landing strip or design and then have a crystal applique applied to the vajayjay. There’s all kinds of designs: hearts, the American flag, arrows, and even words!
It sounds like a good idea for a honeymoon night, but I still had some concerns after my instant delight!
1) Are the crystals hot glued on?! That would hurt so bad!
2) How long does it stay on?
3) What happens during vigorous activity?…and frequent jean-wearing?
4) Are they applied one-by-one?
5) Should I get a lightning bolt or words? LOL
I’m not getting married anytime soon, but I think I’d like to try vajazzle just to say I did so I asked those questions and received the following answers.
Vajazzle adhesive is eyelash glue that typically stays on for about five days. They have the possibility of falling off during vigorous activity. They can be applied one-by-one, but typically an applique is applied.
Ok it doesn’t sound half bad! You can get them done at salons and spas that perform bikini-waxing services OR you can do it yourself! They have at-home vajazzle kits for $10.00 or less!
You know what I was thinking? What about getting those colorful stones in beauty supply stores or craft stores and then buying some eyelash glue? You can put words like “Tweet this” or “No sir” or even put a sad face LOL
